We may from time to time engage third parties to track and analyze non-personally identifiable usage and volume statistical information from visitors to our Site to help us administer our Site and improve its quality. Such third parties may use cookies to help track visitor behavior. Such cookies will not be used to associate individual website visitors to any personally identifiable information.

2.  CONSENT

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your PayPal, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it.

How do I withdraw my consent?

3.  DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

4. PAWNMATE, LLC

Our store is hosted by Pawnmate, LLC. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Pawnmate’s data storage, databases and the general Pawnmate application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

The information collected by Heartland Pawnbrokers _ Kansas is used by Pawnmate to improve product offerings, customize content and layout, marketing, and for internal record keeping and statistical effort. Occasionally, Pawnmate’s eCommerce Marketplace will send you emails about new services or promotions. You can always opt-out of receiving any information from us by updating your account preferences in your account. You can also change access, delete, or modify any of your personal information by logging into your account on the Site. We do reserve the right to send users service and notification emails, which are considered a part of your account; given that these messages are not promotional in nature, you generally cannot opt-out of them without deleting your account.

5. Privacy and 10DLC

As a 10DLC service provider, we adhere to the following principles:

Privacy policies and terms and conditions are displayed next to the phone number entry fields.
Privacy policies explicitly state that end user information is protected and not shared or sold to third parties for marketing, lead generation, or analytics purposes.
The opt-in and opt-out procedures for 10DLC traffic are clearly outlined in both the call-to-action (CTA) and the Terms and Conditions. Opt-in and opt-out occur via the 10DLC number, and short code opt-out routes are not used.

7.  THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our number one priority is to keep your personal information private and confidential. We will not willfully disclose your personal information to third parties. And we will not rent or sell your personal information to anyone. However, certain personal information will be made to others in the process of using our Site. This information includes:

  • Other visitors to our Site may view your user ID, rating, city, profile (which includes multiple fields you may elect to fill out or leave blank);
  • In order to complete the transaction, we are provided with Your other’s email and postal address;
  • When making an offer, we can view your user ID, rating and your city.

When you click on links on our store, they may direct you away from our site. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and encourage you to read their privacy statements.

8.  AGE OF CONSENT

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

9.  CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.

If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.

10.  ACCOUNT PROTECTION

Your password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters and special characters, and do not disclose your password to anyone. If you do share your password or your personal information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your personal information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf.

11. ACCESSING, REVIEWING, AND CHANGING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

You can see, review and change most of your personal information by signing into your account. Generally, we will not manually modify your personal information because it is very difficult to verify your identity remotely. You must promptly update your personal information if it changes or is inaccurate. Once you make a public posting, you may not be able to change or remove it. Upon your request, we will close your account and remove your personal information from view as soon as reasonably possible based on your account activity and in accordance with applicable law. We do retain personal information from closed accounts to comply with law, prevent fraud, collect any fees owed, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, assist with any investigations, enforce our Terms of Use Agreement, and take other actions otherwise permitted by law.

12.  DATA RETENTION AND SECURITY

We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. Your information is stored on our servers located in the United States. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use lots of tools (encryption, passwords, physical security, etc.) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access and disclosure. However, as you probably know, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, and other users may abuse or misuse your personal information that they collect from the site. Therefore, although we work very hard to protect your privacy, we do not promise, and you should not expect, that your personal information or private communications will always remain private.
